UCLA Exceptional Student Admission Program (ESAP)
The Data Science in Biomedicine MS program has an Exceptional Student Admission Program exclusively for UCLA graduates. This program provides guaranteed admissions to the Data Science in Biomedicine MS program for UCLA graduates (or near graduates) who meet certain criteria.
The ESAP program provides guaranteed admission to the program. Interested students must still officially apply to the program and complete a full application in addition to filling out the ESAP survey form below. With the exception of the guaranteed admission, ESAP applicants do not differ from other applicants/students in the Data Science in Biomedicine MS program. ESAP students must complete their undergraduate degree at UCLA before enrolling in the Data Science in Biomedicine MS program as graduate students
To be eligible for the ESAP program, students must have:
1. Either enrolled in the last year or completed UCLA undergraduate degree in the last 3 years.
2. Completed (or completing) a degree with one of the following majors/minors:
- Any Engineering school major
- Any Mathematics major
- Statistics major
- Computational and Systems Biology major
- Bioinformatics Minor
3. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
4. Filled out the ESAP survey form below.
5. Submit a complete graduate application to the Data Science in Biomedicine following appropriate program deadlines.
